At the Residence of CareSource, we strive to provide a homelike environment - but with many features that cater to patients' and families' special needs:

• Private, semiprivate, and suite accommodations
• Full private bathrooms and shower, patios with French doors, private direct phone lines and cable TV with VCR and DVD
• Family (even children's) visiting hours 24 hours a day
• Overnight accommodations for family members free of charge
• A daily, on-site physician; Registered Nurses on duty 24 hours a day
• Cafe' with special individuals meals prepared on occasion
• Kitchenettes for family members
• Spacious family gathering areas
• Chapel, library, home theater, beauty salon, and in-house pharmacy
• Bereavement support groups that meet regularly in comforting, homelike rooms
• Spiritual counselor, medical social worker, massage therapist, and certified nursing assistant

CareSource employs only the highest quality staff, including physicians board certified by the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and nurses certified in hospice and palliative care.

The Residence of CareSource provides a warm an dignified environment for hospice and palliative care services. Our professional staff delivers pain management, symptom monitoring and control, and psychological and spiritual care in a homelike setting...when care in the home may not be an option.

Care Alternative That Offer Real Choices
Inpatient care is only one of the alternatives CareSource offers. We work with patients and their families to determine which alternative is right for them. Hospice services can also be provided in the patient's home, or in hospital, skilled nursing, assisted living, or retirement facilities.

The Residence of CareSource provides three levels of care:

1. General Inpatient Care - For acutely ill patients whose pain and symptoms require continual daily monitoring by a physician, either their own or CareSource's physician. Medicare and most private insurance carriers cover 100 percent of this level of care when certain criteria are met.
2. Routine Care With Room And Board - For patients who may lack a caregiver or who otherwise connot stay in their homes,l this alternative offers the same level of hospice care that can be delivered at home. Medicare covers 100 percent of these hospice services; however, room and board are typically paid privately by patients and their families.
3. Respite Care - For patients whose caregivers may need a short respite from their duties, this short-term care in The Residence (up to 5 days) offers that capability. Medicare covers 100 percent of this level of care.
